Sardar is the Managing Partner of the Firm. He has over fifteen years’ experience in diverse areas of the law both in transactional matters as well as litigation. However, he specializes in corporate and commercial law, oil and gas, insolvency law, real-estate transactions, telecommunications law and intellectual property law.
Sardar is experienced in large scale infrastructure projects in the oil and gas sector in Pakistan. In particular, he has helped draft, structure and negotiate the first of its kind Gas Transportation Agreement, between a consortium of manufacturers in the fertilizer industry and one of the biggest utility companies in Pakistan. He has also extensively advised the biggest gas utility company in Pakistan on the first ever multi-national LNG/RLNG importation, storage and transportation transaction in Pakistan.
Sardar was appointed as a Joint Official Liquidator by the Honorable Lahore High Court in 2018 with respect to the Winding Up Proceedings of a leading Commercial Bank, and has been involved in all aspects of debt repayment, sale of assets, and compromising debts and pecuniary liabilities of the Bank with respect to its secured and unsecured creditors.
Sardar actively appears before the superior Courts of Pakistan as well as quasi-judicial and regulatory in contentious and on-contentious matters. He is an experienced litigator with Reported Judgments in the fields of insolvency law, service laws, higher education and constitutional law.
Sardar is an accredited mediator from the Centre of Effective Dispute Resolution London and is a CEDR certified master mediation trainer.
Sardar has also taught Islamic Law and Public International Law in the University of London LL.B (Hons) International Programs.
